Christian Singles PULSE is a non-denominational Christian Singles ministry, born from a vision the Lord gave me in 1999. At the same time, he called me to serve single adults and bring "life" to them through Christian fellowship, teachings, activities and outreach. Without PULSE... chances are you just aren't living. We desire to be singles "Alive in Christ" who are Positive, Uplifting, Loving, Serving, Encouraging! The basis of this ministry is build around Hebrews 10:24-25 and is considered our foundational scripture.
Over the past 18 years, my time serving singles has had many different faces but the Lord has always been constant and faithful through each of the seasons. I have served in leadership with New Life Singles, Real Life Singles, as well as, retreat leadership for the Christian Singles Summit at Glacier. I am currently on the Leadership Team of Northwest Christian Singles and attend Lake City Community Church in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. I have also participated in Navigate Single Adult Leadership training.
In 2013, after Real Life Ministries discontinued our active singles ministry, I was lead to launch Christian Singles PULSE as a Meetup group to fill in the gap and keep Christian singles from falling through the church cracks. It has grown to over 1000 members in the past 6 years.
Through our Meetup site we promote area singles ministries events, as well as, plan activities and events to cultivate singles fellowship. They include game nights, movie nights, dinners out, bible studies, holiday parties, local events, theater and pretty much anything that will bring life and encouragement to single adults and at the same time honor the Lord.
What We Believe:
THE NICENE CREED
WE BELIEVE in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
WE BELIEVE in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
WE BELIEVE in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
